            Day 1 – Structure of Project Management and How It Coincides with Changes of Delivery

            Module 1: Change in an Organization and How Project Management Can Ensure Success in Transition

            A discussion on the concept of change, its processes and impact for both the organization and its people. It will also set the tone on the importance of adapting a transition mindset in improving traditional project management approach.

            Activity 1: 6 Thinking Hats

            An engaging activity that will highlight the dynamic of point of views and how will it impact change.

            Module 2: Project Management Fundamentals Part 1

            Based on the concept of Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) discussion will focus on the following:

            The Project and Its Associated Structures
            Project Management Fundamentals: The person, methods and Life Cycle
            Important Knowledge Area for Project Management

            Activity 2: The Blind Guide

            An activity that will showcase the analogy of how a change/project manager will be an essential guide in allowing the progress of change in an organization.

            Synthesis Session

            Summary and discussion on the importance of the previous session

            Module 3: Project Management Fundamentals Part 2

            Based on the concept of Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) discussion will focus on the following:

            Building the Business Case and Starting the Project
            The Project Charter and Sample Presentation
            Stakeholder Identification and Coordination

            Activity 3: The Vision Storyboard

            Basic application of planning through story boarding activities

            (30 Minutes Preparation, 30 Minutes delivery)

            Module 4: Project and Governance Planning

            Based on the concept of Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) discussion will focus on the following:

            Project Planning Essentials: Work Breakdown, Timelining and Activity Breakdown
            The Critical Path
            Client and Stakeholder Communications
            Cost Resource and Procurement

            Final Synthesis and Assignment Delivery

            Participant groups will be given one of the following guide items to structure a Project Plan

            Project Charter
            Activity Breakdown and Milestone Timeline
            Resource, Quality and Procurement Planning
            Critical Contact Listing and Communication Protocol

            Day 2 – Presentation of Project and Governance Plan (8:00 AM to 4:00 PM); all breaks except for lunch will be a working break.

            Module 5: Project Implementation and Closure

            Based on the concept of Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) discussion will focus on the following:

            Validation and Verification of Deliverable Completion
            Risk Register and Its Importance
            Dynamic Change Log and Issues Register
            Governance and Performance Monitoring and Reporting
            Project Completion Reporting and Achievement Milestone Presentation

            Closing activities and awarding of best performers

            Summary of best practices observed
            Discussion of Opportunities and Possible Solution
            Open Forum and Closure of event
